If you follow us on Twitter you probably already know about our go-to weekend get downs. Amongst our list of faves is Makossa, an Afro-beat, salsa, soul, and funk party brought to you by the Latin Soul Brothers [Joe Quixx (Oakland Faders); Wonway Posibul (D2S/ Thinkbeat Radio); and Sivan (TRU Soul)]
This Tuesday, Makossa celebrates their homecoming in Oakland as they make their debut at Era Art Bar and Lounge. The brief Summer hiatus is over and the party is back in full effect every Tuesday at 9PM.
We’ll have MADE giveaways for the ladies so make sure to get there early to claim your goods.
In the meantime get yourself excited for Tuesday’s festivities and take a listen to DJ Wonway Posibul’s classic Makossa mix. Enjoy!
